Foundation
In 1987, company founder Dieter Breuer launched the sole proprietorship Breuer with two employees. At the company’s headquarters in Hirschaid, they began selling computer systems.

For over 30 years, Technomix has supported manufacturing companies across a wide range of industries in testing components according to standards, identifying defects early, and systematically reducing complaint risks.
With locations in Germany and the Czech Republic, our own automation equipment, and certified processes according to DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001, and EN 9100, we secure more than 200 million components every year.
Our services range from a wide variety of quality inspections using non-destructive testing methods (NDT) to fully automated camera inspection with our own equipment fleet. In addition, we develop customized inspection system solutions, support the integration of in-house inspection systems, and provide verified testing equipment and sensor solutions.
Depending on your needs, we act as a quality-assurance extension of your operations, take over inspection and rework processes as part of industrial contract work, or integrate as a structured system partner directly into existing production and supply chains.
Technomix does not view quality assurance as an isolated control function, but as an integral part of industrial processes. Whether series inspection, safe-launch phase, complaint containment, or temporary capacity bottlenecks, we provide structured, reproducible, and audit-ready inspection solutions that can be flexibly integrated into existing production environments.

Our history.
From a sorting service provider to a technology-driven full-service quality provider.
Founded in 1987 as a sole proprietorship, Technomix has consistently developed into a specialist in external quality assurance since the early 1990s. What began with manual visual testing has evolved into a structured, technology-based testing portfolio—ranging from manual testing methods to fully automated inspection systems. With locations in Germany and the Czech Republic, we support international clients in demanding industries with scalable, standards-compliant testing processes.
1989
Expansion into the service sector
In 1989, the company expanded its range of services to include the testing and repair of electronic components.
1993
Specializing in sorting operations
Starting in 1993, Breuer also began specializing in visual testings and sorting.
1999
Steady growth and improvement
In 1999, Breuer secured Robert Bosch GmbH as its first major client. The company increasingly focused on sorting operations and visual testing procedures for clients in the automotive industry. The number of employees rose to five full-time staff members.
2001
Certification according to the DIN standard
Certification under DIN EN ISO 9001 confirms that Breuer actively implements a quality management system. The company has grown to 21 full-time employees.
2002
Foundation of Technomix AG
As a result of the company’s rapid growth, the permanent team now consists of 40 employees. The service portfolio is also expanding steadily, which is why the automotive division was spun off into a separate company. Technomix AG was founded on December 23, 2002.
2004
International branch in the Czech Republic
Technomix s.r.o. was founded in the Czech Republic in 2004, and the team in Pilsen quickly grew to 35 employees.
2011
Obtaining environmental certification
In addition to its existing DIN EN ISO 9001 certification, Technomix AG has also received environmental certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001.
2019
Certification for the aerospace industry
In 2019, Technomix AG also received EN 9100 certification. The company entered the industry in 2020 with orders from Präwest and MTU.
2020
Increase in the number of employees
As of the end of 2020, Technomix AG employed a total of approximately 150 people.
